Bro. Warg was saved in December of 1997 after a time of uncertainty regarding his eternal destiny. Through a soul-winning training course in his local church he came to the realization that he had never dealt with his sin before God, repenting and putting his trust in Jesus Christ. He was called to the gospel ministry shortly thereafter under the preaching of Bro. Sam Davison at Southwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College in May of 2007 and followed the call of God to New England. Pastor Warg is a native New Englander, born and raised just outside of Worcester, Massachusetts. He served as an assistant for a time at Faith Bible Baptist in Clinton, MA, and after an interim year of waiting upon God while serving at Lighthouse Baptist in Holbrook, MA, he was called to pastor at Promised Land Baptist Church. Bro. Warg met his wife, Pennie, in 1994 and they were married in January of 1995. Pennie is the daughter of Tom and Cindy Brewer, missionaries to the Amazon region of Brazil since 1980. They have five children; Caleb, Luke, Emma, Victoria, and Annika.
